My nickname in school was Anju; still some friends call me Anju. I studied in Fertilisernagar School. I was the # 1 student in 12th with Accounting in whole Baroda in 1988. It has been 20 years that I live on the beautiful island called Montreal in Canada. I work as a Purchasing Assistant and my husband works for the Canadian government. Shrinivas (Ashok) Karve
I attended Model High School between 1958 and 1960. I then spent one year in Vidyanager before returning to Baroda to join MSU. I completed B.E. (Electrical and Mechanical) by 1965 from MSU Techo and came to UK. I have been here in London for almost 43 years now. It would be nice to meet up with some of my old friends from MSU days as most of them I know have spread worldwide and may be reaching retirement age like me. By the way I am still working as Director of Business Development with a major French UPS manufacturer, so there may still be few years before I really retire. Friends are most welcome to contact me. I moved to USA in 1973 and lived in Chicago for 17 years and now I live in West Palm Beach, Florida and work for the city of Delray Beach as chemist/microbiologist. I am happily married and have 2 sons. I still miss the good old days of MSU. I was in the graduating class of 1972 with Zoology major. I still remember my classmates Naina Gangaramani, Veena Hirani, Kokila, Devhuti Vyas, Geeta Amin, Vijay Sonvane, Charulata Seth, Sushila Patel, Pushpa Amin, Ratna Patel. I still remember the final year in Masters programme, I had Avian Biology, so Geeta and I used to look for nests of "Sugri" close to Alembic area on our bikes many afternoons. I have not forgotten the teachers. Dr. Shah, the department head, a real nice and quiet gentleman, Dr. Nayak, a very distinguished looking professor, Dr. Desai, always happy and jovial, Mr. Praful Patel, as usual in good mood with his black motorcycle. And how can I forget all the assistant professors who taught us to dissect anything and everything? I came to Baroda in 1969. That time getting a job in Sarabhiai ORG group of companies was something great. I joined the Group during 1970. I used to take my food at Suryaprakash, a South Indian restaurant. I got married in 1976. Since I got a job in Riyadh I shifted to Riyadh with my family. My elder daughter got married and settled in Riyadh.. My younger did her entrance exam and she selected Baroda for her higher studies. Venkataraman Iyer
I was born in Bangalore in 1945. I did my schooling in Rosary High School (SSC in 1960). I did Mechanical Engineering from MSU Techo in 1965. After a few years of working in Baroda and Ahmedabad, I joined ONGC and worked in Ahmedabad, Baroda and Mumbai till 1988. Vijay Kulkarni
I studied at Rosary School and graduated from MSU's Faculty of Commerce. In the first year I was Class Representative and elected vice-president of student's association, then for two years was Faculty-Representative. Yajuvendra Sonavane
