Original Prints from some of Baroda’s best-known artists are available from Chhaap Printmaking Workshop. Established on a co-operative basis in 1999, Chhaap tries to create and promote wider appreciation of original prints. Chhaap’s first Portfolio was a sell-out even when it was still in the process of being made. Now its Portfolio 2 and Portfolio 3 are available to art-lovers. Almost all the participating artists whose works are included in these two portfolios are nationally, if not internationally known. Each Portfolio consists of 7 Prints.

Portfolio 2 features prints by senior artists Jyoti Bhatt, Nagji Patel, the currently-on-top artists such as Surendran Nair, Vasudevan Akkitham, Vijay Bagodi and Sachin Karne and upcoming young artist, Debraj Goswami. Portfolio 3 features senior artists Padma Shri Gulammohammad Sheikh, Jeram Patel, the currently-on-top artists like B.V. Suresh, Indrapramit Roy and Kavita Shah and upcoming young artists like Sunil Darji and K.K. Mohamed. At the moment, Akkitham, Bagodi, Suresh and Roy are teaching at the prestigious Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University of Baroda.

Whereas the Portfolios are available as complete in themselves, Chhaap also has individual prints (independent of the Portfolios) by G.M. Sheikh, Vijay Bagodi and Kavita Shah.
