Equipment and Facilities
- The Nene Clinic is a fully equipped, modern Hospital. All Endoscopic Instruments including the telescope, camera, CO2-Insufflator and other operative instruments are from Karl Storz, Germany, ensuring maximum safety and precision during surgery.
- The state-of-the-art Operation Theatre for all obstetric and gynecological procedures and surgeries along with the recovery room is completely equipped with central oxygen supply and monitoring facilities.
- The air-conditioned Labour Room is also fully equipped with central oxygen supply, continuous foetal surveillance and a paediatrician on hand.
Dr. Suchitra (Purandare) Nene did her graduation from Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad and her post-graduation from VS General Hospital, Municipal Medical College, Ahmedabad. She took Laparoscopy Training with Dr. Rakesh Sinha at
BEAMS, Mumbai, and training in Microsurgery with Dr. R.N. Banker at VS Hospital, Ahmedabad.
She began her practice in Baroda after her marriage to ENT surgeon, Dr. Milind Nene. Both doctors have rebuilt the original Nene Clinic at Pitruchaya, behind GPO, Raopura, into a modern medical facility with consulting rooms, operating theatre, labour room and special rooms. In 2001, they inaugurated their new Nene Clinic at Gotri on Rajesh Apartment Road, which is a state-of-the-art equipped hospital with large, airy and very clean interiors.
